Birding: June 2026

While there was a good bit of birding this past month, sadly not that many photos. I wrote about my busted 200-600G the other day but yeah, due to that I had a limited catalog this month. Of course with the lens out of service, I missed out on some little fledglings, a new lifer (orchard oriole) and a bunch of hawks just chilling in a tree outside the house, taunting me. Hoping to have it fixed next month!

All that said, our morning birding group spotted a few nests we’re able to revisit (from a distance) on our walks – one of my favs is a group of Cedar Waxwings.
