Birding: November 2025

After a lackluster October, activity in November really picked up. I couldn’t be happier with some of the shots I was able to get; they’re some of my favorite this year.

With all the leaves gone, our winter friends started to arrive—plenty of Dark-Eyed Juncos (the harbinger of the cold), Tufted Titmouses, Eastern Bluebirds, and more. They sure are happy I was able to put the feeders back out now that the bear is (hopefully) asleep for the season. My goal this winter is to see if I can’t get some of them to eat out of my hand. Stay tuned…
