March was active early and such a variety of species as we’re entering Spring and our Winter birds are beginning their migration south. Gonna be sad to see the Juncos leave, but excited to get Hummingbirds and Warblers back soon.

I had started on this post the last week of March, not thinking I’d get any more. But then my wife and I went on a walk around the Duck Pond trailhead in Mohonk Preserve and we saw a few a bluebird and some really low-flying Turkey Vultures as well as this clipped-wing Red-Tailed Hawk in our backyard.
